Project: "Sentinel" Recieves glowing Review.
"In Project: "Sentinel" James Jensen creates and intense and original story that follows a former LAPD detective as he tries to find his way in life. As the story begins, the author introduces the reads to John Black, a former LAPD police officer wh has moved to a quiet town in Oregon. Feeling down on his luck and sorry for himself, he is learning to adjust to a the small town way of life; this is until his former life comes sweeping in again. Jensen builds intrigue around Black as many begin to question what exactly his doing in this small town. The story takes dramatic twists and turns as Jensen begins to unfold the subplot of a Chinese madman who wants to start world war III in order to achieve his twisted idea of revenge. Throughout the stroryline Jensen develops the charaters using dialogue and descriptive prose. The ideas are well developed and create a unique, yet cohesive theme troughout."

Project: "Sentinel"
Receives Rave Review
Project: "Sentinel" was reviewed in the current issue of El Ojo Del Lago, a local information and news magazine that is published in Lake Chapala area of Mexico where Author James M. Jensen now lives. Local journalist Linda Moore read and reviewed Project: "Sentinel" for the magazine and her review appears in the December 2008 issue. Ms. Moore writes:
"Writen by local resident and former Law Enforcement offical James M. Jensen, the novel is a riveting thriller that combines elements of police procedruals, suspense and international crime. The author's long career experience brings convincing details, language, and characters that are woven into the story in subtle and, at times, in more obvious ways. The plot is based on a comfortingly farmilar scenario: an LAPD policeman, John Black, forced to resign his postion after being falsely accuesed of a theft, vindicates himself and creates a new life in another town, complete with a new girlfriend, where he solves a multifaceted crime. The reader is pulled into plot twists and glimpses of the inner workings of a ruthless international criminal network whose evil nature seems quite plausible in today's world. Tension between offical and non-offical approaches to solving crime add depth to the story. The reader, who knows from page one that the hero will triumph, is constantly drawn forward by the need to understand how John Black will redeem himself while at the same time engage and defeat the high tech dealing of a sinister Chinese company. Mr. Jensen's understandings are unique to his experience and packed full of action. An interesting twist, involving the relationships between the tarnished hero and his ex-SEAL friends, leads the reader into an explosive ending. Published by Publish American the book offers an interesting read for those who enjoy action and suspense. We thank Mr. Jensen for offering us insight into and intriguing world."
